freshwater puffers?

Why a goldfish(coldwater fish) in a heated aquarium? Commons get up to a foot long. Also, the last time I put a paradise fish with a Dwarf Gourami, the Dwarf Gourami came away with no eyes...yours probably has a bigger territory and could be more peaceful, but I would watch out for that.
I would REALLY watch out if the plecko is a common plecko, though. They grow ~14 inches, sometimes larger. Don't know why they sell them so often.

hm, ok. thanks everyone, i think i'll just keep what i have then. i had been told that a puffer would be fine for my tank, but i thought it kind of odd (hence the posting here).

:-D thanks!
Rather than just keeping "what you have" I would suggest rethinking the stock.

The tiger barbs are very nippy unless kept in larger groups (6 minimum, more better). The blackskirts and cherry barbs would also feel much better in a larger school, as would the corys.

I would get an ID of the pleco as some get rather large.

Not sure how the paradise fish vs. gourami thing would work out in a tank that size. It sounds too risky.

And the goldfish is not suited to that tank. They can survive higher temperatures but it significantly shortens their life. They thrive in cooler water.

Just my suggestions, take em or leave em.

I never had a problem with feeding. That is my own personal experience and it is a commonly accepted idea to not keep puffers in a community tank. My puffer goes right up to the feeding cone and takes worms along with all the other fish. It has a nice fat little belly and I also give it a snail treat once in awhile until the snail farm really gets going.
