i recently bought a freshwater stingray for my tank and it died wich sucks but my question is when they die does it release there poison from there stingers and can this harm my other fish? plz answer if you know anything oabout freshwater stingrays kthx

No they do not release any kinds of toxin from their stinger when they die.
They do decompose at a very rapid pace so make sure your tank is fine ( no ammonia spike ,etc ) as your stingray death could affect the remaining fish in the tank. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't say that. They need a large tank, and require some special care, but I wouldn't say they're hard to keep.
FW rays need a mature tank, excellent water quality, good, stable pH, snad substrate, quality diet, and plenty of room....not a 'beginner' fish, but most species rate 'advanced aquarist', some require expert care. An excellent first ray is a motoro, as they are on the hardier end of common FW rays.
