Its going to be a freshwater so what that means is the snowflake is going to have to go right? If there is anything else wrong please tell me?

Im going to see if my LFS can take him they usually keep them in stock. Mine is quite a bit bigger then the ones for sale so he migth go in a display tank. Who knows. I have another question for you NorthStar would a 18inch fire eel be compatible with a Potamotrygon Scobina or other rays of its size? Do you keep any live fish with your rays?
Well, I was told that anything that can fit into a hungry rays mouth could be considered food. there's a member here pataloco(sp) that has 2 rays in a 250 Gallon tank with other fish, if you find his member profile take a look at some of the pictures, he has a beautiful tank

Incorrect....rays are not significantly venomous....the danger comes from bacterial infections of deep, ragged puncture wounds, or imbedded stingers, which will work themselves further in.
One can keep all sorts of live fish with rays, but they must be chosen carefully. As for a fire eel....I have not seen it done, and would have reservations about it, as the eel is primarily bottom dwelling and although long, I could see the ray gnawing on his tail at some point.
See i could see the tail thing happening. I heard of discus with rays but also with more aggresive rays they'll still tear them up. I guess its just the rays attitude.
