A few days ago I went to my local fish shop and saw a group of this fish that look a lot like the marine stonefish. It does look a bit like form the goby family... Does anyone have any info about it? I am thinking of keeping it.

most likely a bullroute awsome looking fish no colour but extremly interesting and poisonuse can cause servre heartattacks if you get their venom in you:D ;)

They're a brackish water to marine fish, no FW for this species. They're also hard to keep alive, they are difficult to feed.

and they are highly venomous, not something you want to be keeping.

thats not true when i was in queensland i use to catch them by the bucket load in streams alothough near the sea they were brackish IMO they like freshwater more then saltwater and feeding they do take meaty chucks but you have to get them on it ASAP other wise they only take live foods

as far as i know it can go in all types of water not so much salt but it will go in SW for awhile their arnt very many sites but ill stry and find something
