fridmeni pseudochromis or bicolor one?

i'll get another wrasse but i need help to figure out which one would clean fish, not eat anything beneficial in my reef, and would eat bad small snails but not large good snails. many wrasses would eat things like feather dusters and many wrasses are too expensive. i'm going to look for tank bread fridmeni today, and reef chromis. i'll check out what wrasses we have around here and will post their names. there is one store that has nothing but tons of cleaner wrasses. i didn't know we shouldn't buy them. vey difficult to not get them because they are super good fish. also, every time i go to a store, someone buys one of those. i guess it's the way they move

You have a store there that only sells cleaner wrasses? Where is this?

To control pyramid snails I'd look at either the six line, eight line, yellow or green coris wrasse.
To clean fish I'd add cleaner shrimp or a cleaner goby.

okay. i got six line wrasse, but i'm torren to where i want to put it because it likes bristle worms too. i'll probably just use a trap for bristle worms. i found out that it's bad long term for a bristle worm live inside the clam. i got my six line at that store i was talking about. they had tons of cleaner wrasses at some point, but they had 3 when i went there today.

I only had a clam for few days. he was possibly somewhat stressed and that way attracted a worm. the worm has to go, but i need to find bristle worm trap, because i put six line wrasse to another tank with bad piramidellid snail problem. i still didn't get the foto because i was too busy with building new refugium, but i'll try to get some fotos this weekend. clam looks good and not pinched anywhere. responces are good, opens and closes when light changes or i come up. in fact, he is getting used to me comming up, but still closes when i get into the tank.

I bought a feidmani it's by far the brightest and most active most peaceful fish

cool. how much did you pay for yours? they are kinda high around here. also, my six line is missing in action. hopefully it'll turn up later.

well, an update is that i'm very interested in getting fridmeni but so far can't find one. on another hand, six line wrasse showed up, but has ick. i haven't had that problem for some time, so i hate seeing it in my system. hope it won't go over to every fish in the tank. :wall:
