Hi all,

I admit I have been intrigued lately by the frogs that keep breeding them in my old ponds. I don't really know the exact species. They're the ones that jump almost a meter and stick very well to walls, trees, etc. The eggs are laid in thousands but only about a dozen survive to adulthood with guppies leading the obstacles since they peck the tadpoles' heads to death.:lipssealedsmilie:

The frogs are native of the Philippines if anyone wants to know where they originate. What are they?

Here are some pics. Ignore my fingers.:lipssealedsmilie:

Is it true these frogs do have toxic skin secretions? I find these frogs fascinating and have petted a few that are willing to be touched. They're just around my house and croaking loudly during the rainy season.

There is one site recording these are nocturnal. This is not the case at all. The frogs are busy around my ponds all day swimming and hopping between the two ponds.

That froglet pic is absolutely adorable. I love frogs.

Thanks, everyone but credits go to Mother Nature as they are only renting my ponds like an apartment.:D
