Is it for a community or just frogs?? There's African dwarf frogs and African clawed frogs. African clawed can get upto 6 inches and african dwarfs can get upto 2 and a half. Here's a good website.

We need more information on this.
Is this a terriarium? or is it a fish tank and you are interested in some aquatic frogs. I believe a 29 is to deep for Dwarfs but not to deep for a African. And I will tell you this. Africans get very big and will eat everthing in the tank that swims.

African Dwarf Frogs

I have so far been successful with my African Dwarf Frogs in my tank. It is hard to tell whether or not they are feeding though. Any thoughts?

What are you feeding them??? And how big are they?
The large ones will eat fish. But if you have some smaller ones, I would try live black worms. These things will get everyone to eat.

Ok, I am going to sound harsh on this But I NEED A SPECIFIC SETUP here. What do you have in your tank, fish wise? How old is your tank? A 29 is a deep tank and you will NOT be able to go with Dwarf African frogs. You might get away with the larger cousin the Clawed but they get BIG, I have seen them about the size of my hand/ or about the size of a small adult bull frog.

If your tank is over 12" tall then ARF's will most likely drown. They tend to wait till the last minute to come up for air and if the water is too deep they do not make it.
