What do you need help with. Frontosas are one of my favorites, but I don't know much about them yet... not until I can get a good tank set up for them. Sorry!

Hi, I suggested my friend post his fish on here. I didn't think they looked like frontosa either.

Does anyone have an idea of what they look like they might be, or even just a particular family to look at?

idk im not **** if its not a Fronts, they have the attatude of a pit bull i droped them in, one of my other yelllow cichlid thats 3 times there size jumped on them they turned face on and wooped her ***.

Nah. Not fronts.

For all I know it could just be some kind of african cichlid hybrid. There's hybridized africans at fish stores all the time. Not a cichlid expert by any means, but I can't think of one that matches those characteristics 100%. But then again there's so many darn species that look similar, I dunno.

Some african cichlids are just really aggressive.

Fronts actually aren't very aggressive as far as cichlids go.

I'm hoping maybe something will stand out as they get bigger, if they get bigger. The others that were in the tank definitely were frontosa. One of the ones in the pic has a yellow ting, didn't think fronts had that. Will be curious to see that one when I see them in person.

I think the only thing I hate worse then misIDed fish, are misIDed tarantulas

ok i spent like 20min looking at my (?fish) and they do have a small black band down there eyes it just dont show up on the pix
