I was just wondering how many oscars or fronts or jacks i could fit in a 75 gallon tank? Any info is appreciated. :huh: i would only have one type in the tank BTW.

The oscar will need the 75 to it's self or you could have a pair of JD's but imo your tank is to small for fronts.

ok. so i could fit 2 JDs in it. Will they be ok for a long time or will i need to uprade in the future.
A pair of JD's will be fine in a 75g tank for their whole life.
If it was my tank i would have the oscar, they are great fish with loads of personality. Mine used to let me pet him and he used to jump out of the top of his tank to take food from my hand.

I agree with Krytan that the JD's would be a better choice.
FWIW - I have a full grown Oscar 13-15", pleco 13-15" and pink con 4.5" in a 90 running 2 Emperor 400 filters. They barely handle the waste of the three.

Frontosas should be in a group (they live in colonies) which would outgrow a tank this size eventually.
