I was just wondering, how often should I feed my fish frozen bloodworm?

Or is there a good plan to feed them?

I also feed them flakes, and only feed them 1 cube every Monday.

I have around 18 fish which are mostly small, like Neon Tetras.

How often/how much flake food do you feed? Does the food last more than a few minutes before it's all consumed? Does any of the food hit the bottom of the tank?

If everything's good with the above, I don't think a weekly bloodworm feast is out of line.

Overfeeding will show first in persistent ammonia readings.

Edit:

Have you posted your tank specs to the member's aquariums specs forum? There are good instructions stickied to the top of that forum.

I only feed them a small amount of flakes every night (except when feeding bloodworm), and it all gets eaten within a few minutes.

And with the bloodworm, I put in 1 cube, and it gets eaten also within a few minutes.

I haven't been there yet.

I looked over your dissapearing fish thread, and I consider it likely that your fish are getting additional "protein supplements" besides the bloodworms.

Can you post ammonia and nitrite/trate readings?

I haven't checked them yet, because I used to own coldwater fish before that, but I am getting it done next week in an Aquarium Shop.
