With those frozen foods do u just dump it in the tank or cut it in little pieces? Will dumping them in cloud the water ?

They won't cloud the water as long as you don't over feed (that goes for all food). I actually hold the cube under the water and even dispurse it then take the rest down to my peacock eel to feed him by hand. Same with my frogs in another tank.
Defrost some food in a container before putting it in the tank. If the fish get any un-defrosted foor in there bellies, it could lead to digestive problems.
As far as preparing it goes, it depends on the food. Really the best advice I can give you when feeding your fish is to use common sense. Make sure the food isn't too big for the fish to somewhow eat it (either by picking pieces off of it, or by swallowing it whole) and make sure you don't give them too much food.

I thaw mine first, too. I just put a little tank water in a small cup and the cube and voila!
It's easier to portion by first cutting the frozen cube into whatever amount you want to feed, and put the rest back in the freezer. It also thaws more easily that way (smaller pieces).

I am currently using frozen blood worms because my picky bumblebee goby wont eat much else. For my 10g tank i just cut off 1/4 a cube and throw it in a shot glass full of tank water... after its defrosted I just stir it up with my finger and pour it in.. All my fish go nuts over it!
I'm curious as to why people use tank water to defrost frozen food instead of just tap water? The volume of water needed to defrost food is minor compared to the volume of a tank. So any chlorine or chloramine that might be added would be insignificant. Plus, I think that if someone regularly uses a water conditioner with water changes, any residual conditioner in the tank would instantly neutralize that small amount of chlorine. I'm too lazy to worry about it and just defrost frozen food with regular water.
I don't thaw the food first. I use a worm feeder and drop the frozen food into it. As it thaws, the fish pull the food out through the little holes.
