is it ok to chop up a batch of veggies, blanch em and freeze em as needed or do they need to be fresh? be stuff like yam, cucumber, zuccinii etc for a clown pleco if it makes a differnce.

cool, skin on or skin off on stuff like cuc, zucchini and yams?

I vote skin on. I feed raw zucchini to my royal panaque and he likes skin the most. In fact, I don't think he will touch blanched veggies, just raw. I weigh them down with a fork.

You could try this, and see how your pleco likes it. I know my pleco likes the skin of veggies because he eats that part first.

I would freeze them unblanched and then allow the microwave to do the blanching during the defrost. My veggies always sink and the fish decimate them on landing.
