Fry - Ich Problem !

I have one one-week old guppy fry. He was the only one that survived, hence his name, Nemo. Unfortunatley, he has ick. I separated him from the main tank and put him in a 2.5 gallon tank with brand new substrate, water directly from the main tank that I recently put Jungle- Ick Clear in.

I just went out and got this tank from a friend so he can be quarantined and stuff. Unfortunatley, there is no filter (except for this cheap and ridiculously powerful one that came with it) and I'm currently using a desk lamp for heat maintaining a 80* average.

What did I do wrong? Just tell me now, because I'm sure I did something wrong. What can I do now?

Thanks,
Zaabu & Nemo

first of all I wouldnt reccomend an ich treatment like that ever.

salt and heat is the best way to treat ich-- especially in a delicate fish like this.

Good luck treating him... but to be completely honest he has a low chance of survival at that stage of his life.. its almost better to just cull him and try again
