I was cleaning out my filter media lately, and when I was finished, in the jug I carried it in there was a bit of water in the bottom. As I was just about to pour it down the drain, I seen what looked like a tadpole.
I looked at it at eye-level, and saw a young free swimming fry!! This was very supprising, because I have never bred fish before, and I have only started keeping tropical fish a few months ago!! I went out to a pet shop and bought a floating fry raising box, and some fry food.
By looking at it I think its a Molly, and also I recently got a new Molly and it now keeps rubbing and pushing underneath the other Molly. I think they must have had it when my Dad went on a an business trip and no-one was home.
He is the only one I ever found, and I was just wondering if anyone can give me tips or help on raising him.
Thanks
