I just turned off the lights in my tank and when I looked at my apisto cave, I saw the female surrounded by tiny white things by the cave opening. I had suspected that they were breeding or getting ready to breed, but this is the first time I have seen the fry.
What should I do with them? Should I just leave them alone and hope a few survive?

Congrats! What else is in the tank? She should be able to protect them for a few days even with other fish in the tank. Unless you have a cycled sponge filter and 10g ready to go, I would let nature take it's course and get ready for the next attempt. I remove my fry at 1-2 weeks and feed live bbs 2-3 time a day.

The tank is the 29 form my profile. The tetras seem to be ignoring the fry.

if u want best survival rate u can tack fry out in same water and put in smaller tank,if left in tank parent could eat them

THere are still a few left and they are eating well. I will leave them in the tank for now and remove them when they're a bit bigger.

In my experiance with cichlids, they make great perants and the fry will grow quicker in a tank with the perants. I'm not sure why but its something I tested with my Jewels, I left half with the parents and half went in 10g (about 40 each). I lost alot less in the 10g but I still got 23 fry that the parents were looking after (defending them from 3 7" oscars) and I got 38 fry out the 10g, Im still got 15 of them that I cant get rid-of

Have you tried selling them to your lfs?
