By the way..... where have I saw "cbsmith" before.... I knew I recognized it and knew you were from new brunswick before I even checked the thread. Wait...... I think I know now.... I remember talking to you about your 50 gallon tank with african cichlids quite a while ago. Do you still have that tank?

I still have the 50 and the cichlids. This is another tank that I have. It was planted with tetras in it. Now it is empty as I don't have the time to maintain it as wel as my 50 gallon. I am open to offers so feel free to make one.

I would make an offer, but I probably couldnt even buy it now if it was only $20.

33g

Hi there, My mother wants to give me her 33g. But in the event that something happens that she decides to keep it, I might be interested. I'm in Moncton. However I was kinda hoping to find s'thing a bit bigger, or a corner or bowfront - if you have s'thing like that for sale or know s'one who does, pls let me know.

thanks

Rap

Man, if it was November, I'd buy it... as it is, need to save a bit of cash due to the split-up...

Sold - To me :) Now I have to find a way to sneak it into my office at work :) I already have a sturdy desk to sit it on.

Does any of you maritimers know of anyone local that is into south/central american cichlids? I'm looking for a few species that I haven't been able to track down in Fredericton:

Archocentrus Sajica (t-bar cichlid)

Nandopsis Tetracanthus (cuban cichlid)

Neetroplus Panamensis

Herichthys Carpintis - Escondido (turquoise texas cichlid)

Coorpora nicaraguense (nicaraguan cichlid)

Right now I have a 20gal and the 33 that are cichlidless right now and want some fish to fill them up. I'd be interested in the sajica ASAP...a small group of juviniles to get a breeding pair. Good quality firemouths would be good for the 33.

Aqua Creations in Halifax is supposed to be pretty good for Cichlids, but they may be more African oriented... haven't been there yet mseylf...
