Ok, I just saw a purple striped snail in your pictures and it was so awesome! Any chance one of those would be suited to a planted tank with various livebearers and a krib? No point in getting one if the poor thing will just get picked on. I haven't tried having an apple snail since my ADF tank. The little heathens killed the snail in a day after eating his antennae.

Also, how regularly do you have nerites available? I just set up my 10 gallon shrimp tank and I think I'd like some nerites of some sort in a couple of months. New tank + Wisconsin winter= wait till spring for mail ordered critters.

I have kept the snails that I bought from Rach with anything from shrimp (also purchased from msjinkzd) to guppies/platies/mollies to angelfish. They have all lived long prosperous lives.

Its possible it could work. How densely planted is the tank? Is the krib "mild" mannered? Its also possible the krib could nip the antennae of the apple snail causing it injury or to stop feeding.

I try to keep them in stock, but I have to import from overseas and sometimes there are delays. I am supposed to be getting more soon and am working on setting up a more stable delivery process to ensure I have them. If you let me know what you are hoping to have, I can do my best to make sure I keep them in stock for you :)

The tank is moderately planted 29 gallons, but I'm working on rescaping it and adding more plants. If I do decide to get a snail for that tank I could move the rocks around first so the krib has to rethink his territory. I guess if the krib does cause a problem I could move the snail to the 10 gallon, he'd just be huge in it eventually.

I would love some zebra nerites, although the olives are really pretty too. So many neat critters, so few tanks!

The bridgesii max out at golf ball sized, so it would fit comfortably in a 10g. The basic rule of thumb for them is 2.5g per adult snail if that helps at all. I do commonly have zebras, and I do have a few olives now. I should be getting more of both :)

say... any chance for yellows? just wondering if they're in stock

SWEET! I'm not buying soon tho... still gotta cycle
