I have a tank with sand substrate,I have heard that there are snails that bury themselves and keep the sand moving so it does not become compacted. Is this true? And if so,do you have any of these? And if you don't,what kind of snails are they?

Those are malaysian trumpet snails (mts), and she said earlier in this thread that she doesn't have them. If you search the classifieds though, you should find a few people that sell them.

Malaysian trumpet snails is correct, I didn't carry them previously but have since gotten them in as hitchhikers. I don't have alot, but could certainly share some.

plants

Will someone take pity on a totally clueless and confused person who would like some plants and tell me what to start with?:help:
I would like to buy them from you, msjinkzd because I have heard nothing but good things.

Thanx,
Jacki

Hi Jacki-

Do you know what your lighting is? All the plants I carry are low light plants so you would want to shoot for between 1-2 watts per gallon (divide the totall wattage of your bulbs by the size of the tank in gallons). I think the hardiest plants are the following:
java moss
java fern
anubias

They are an easy place to start as they all get anchored on decoration (driftwood, rocks, or decorations). Feel free to shoot me a pm if you have any questions at all!

I got some Ramshorns from Msjinkzd, and they are awesome! All arrived alive, and she was great to work with. Fast shipping too.
