Cant wait to order, just need to get my 10 up and running put some sand in it, then I am game. 67, by any chance would you mind letting me have a few?? Seeings how fast they reproduce I will only need like 5, but I too want to get my sand ciruclated.

hello,

I was wondering if you can get Krystal red shrimp, if you can I would love 5 for my tank! and around 20 cherry shrimp....well yellows and snowballs too! if no krystal I will wait for the rest when you have them available.
Thank you

I have Crystal reds, grade a/s, but am not offering them for sale yet. As to the others, most don't recommend housing different species of neocaridina (cherry, snowball, yellow, blue pearl) together as they can and will interbreed. Let me know how i can help!

If you dont mind me messing up the long strand of breeding to get the right color variance i would be interested in interbreeding them, what would the outcome be. i mean what kind of shrimp would the hatchilngs be or do you mean they will be "deformed" Im sorry very new to freshwater, all I have ever had is reef tanks.

There are a couple possible outcomes. One color could dominate over another, or they could revert to a wild-type coloration, which is a brownish reddish transparent color. Neat in its own right, but not as vibrant as the refined colors. If you buy them, you can house them together if you like. I just didn't want to sell them to you with you having the assumption there may not be repurcussions to the colors. :)

I have olives right now, will have zebras and more clithons (spikey) snails in a week or two.

NOTE to all: I will be out of town this weekend, so if pm's are not responded its because of that. :)

are the spikeys just like mysterys in the sense of eating, like algae and not my plants lol? I love the look of them but other than that what care is different?

Spikey snails eat algae, VORACIOUSLY. THey are gifted algae eaters. So far, they don't seemm to like a lot of supplemental foods so an established tank is a must. Otherwise, they are more similar to olive nerites than apple snails. Let me know if you have any other questions.
