People who i gave some water lettuce to along with their duckweed and spangles orders really liked the water lettuce and wanted more. So, here i am, sharing the love. these plants are awesome! they have fuzzy leaves and grow quite easily. they flourish in a 20gal long that's got a cheapo walmart shoplight on it with the bulbs that came with that shoplight.
Water lettuce plants will be $1 for 4-5 plants. These plants are my favorite floaters (which is why i didn't list them with the duckweed/spangles the first time around lol)
but I have a ton, so i'll be nice and share. The camera-phone pics will hopefully be good enough to give you an idea of the size of these plants. The coin is a US quarter, and that is the same plant shown in the two coin pics.
Shown in the last pic is the lettuce and water spangles, who have managed to outcompete duckweed
The waxy, large leaves you see are amazon frogbit, but i don't have enough of those to sell yet. maybe once you folks get some water lettuce out of that tank, the frogbit will spread out?
