Definitely great shells. Arrived in perfect condition, clean, and even some extras. They certainly look awesome in my tank. JRH is highly recommended. :grinyes:

Wow, the tank looks awesome! It looks like the land snail shells have some air in them. If you just hold them completely upside down (the opposite of the way they are now), the air should bubble out. It's possible you might need to twist them a little, like you're screwing them down, but usually the air just bubbles out as soon as they're turned upside down.

Is that a water sprite? I love that plants like that because they just go crazy and grow grow grow. I even like the way the little plantlets can float on top of the water with their roots hanging down.

I'm so excited now. I hope you're able to get your multis soon!

Thanks! I was looking forward to your opinion since you have experience with Multis. I was going to let the air out of the land snail shells but then I changed my mind--it adds a bit of character. LoL. I figured they may be useless for the fish "homing" in it, but it would at least make a good "oh crap! Someone's coming! Hide!" type of shell.

Actually, it's not water sprite it is wisteria (or are they the same thing?). It's looking pretty wimpy right now from the bleach dip and lack of light and nutrients for two weeks. Long story short, I was trying to avoid a ramshorn snail infestation in the tank as is in my tank where the plants came from. I'm hoping they will perk up pretty quick. Speaking of which, I think I may have some ferts to toss in. *Makes note* LoL. I think wisteria is my favorite plant--it looks and grows GREAT!

I'm *trying* to get my multis today. This darn winter storm better not stand in my way. :| I may go nuts if I don't get them today. But if I actually get them *not getting hopes up just yet* I'll post an update with some pics. :) Thanks for sharing some of my excitement. I'm a lil :nilly:due to excitement over this tank!

I DO have babies. :) I'm not sure how many. I've got a TON of shells in there, so I can't look directly into the shell where the fry are living. I'm sure mom picked that shell because it wasn't easily accessible.

But anyway, about a month after getting my multies, I saw a little dart of movement down in the crevices, and sure enough, it was a little tadpole-looking fry. I've seen two of them, but they're not really exploring yet. And it's mom's first brood, and I know sometimes it takes a couple of times for fish to perfect their parenting skills.

And yes, I do have shells. I'll take a look when I get home, but I'm pretty sure I've got plenty, most of them range from 1.5" to 1.75", but some are larger. I try to give people a good mix of sizes, and these should be fine for multis. The boys will take the larger shells, and even the smallest is plenty big for the girls.
