Fuge light?

I bought a flood light today and was wondering if it will work well on a refugium.

It's a 4U 65w florescent 6500K.

I see no reason why it wouldnt work on a fuge... the color temp is 65000 k and thats where most plants grow best so yeah, it should would. g'luck

not too sure about spectrums and lights and things but have you thought about the affect salt creep would have on it? just a thought

That's a good point Dan. Since you said that, I took it back out and totally sealed it with silicone.

I got it at Home Depot for 40 bucks in the home outdoor lighting department.

The sucker is pretty darn bright!
