ok so i have posted here before about my tropical community tank, its 48 x 12 x 18 inches, a couple of live plants and a load of fake, fluval 4+ filter, 2x12 inch airstones, driftwood, small size gravel, readings are temp 76*, ph 7.5, ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 20-40 depending on where i am in the week after the last water change, i change 50% weekly. i have in there 20 neon tetras, 9 male guppies, 5 penguin tetras, 2 harlequin rasboras and 2 bronze corys. is this fully stocked? does anyone have any recommendations? i would love to add a betta (i know i cant due to my fancy guppies) it just seems a bit annoying that i dont have a centrepiece fish, i mean, the tank looks nice to me, but it just seems to be missing something. i have considered bulking out my neons and making them the centrepiece as a group, the 20 in there seem to disappear into the plants etc, and then in the evening they all swim in 1 tightly packed school swimming calmly from 1 end of the tank to the other, they ar eenchanting to watch, until i had these in this tank, i had only had them in groups of 5/6, seeing them in a large group really shows them off well.
