hehe I didn't know how else to describe them. I'm looking to set up my 4th tank (180 gallons) any I'm want to stock it with fish that are interactive. I have an African cichlid tank and I'm in love with them. They get all excited when I get home and splash around, I can hand feed them and they actually let me touch them.... this is what i want, fish that are just fun to own. Other than african cichlids and oscars whats out there.

well, i think most other cichlids, like discus and angels will let u hand feed them, and prob. eventually touch them;)

especially angel babies, they ate out of my hand, like weeks after they were born, and they fight the syringe to get more BBS;)

idk, piranhas could work, except they would be like bad dogs;) they won't eat out of ur hand, but ur hand instead;) keep a doc. ready:)........LOL

plecos are nice too.

An oscar is the most dog like fish you can get.

yes, i agree, but;) he said something besides oscars, look at his last sentence;)

You could do several CA or SA cichlids. My chocolate is very personable as are my severums and JDs. Depending on the aggression level you want, jags are also quite personable.

Goldfish. They're like stupid happy dogs, whereas cichs are like your slightly menacing neighbor's dog.

+1^
totally forgot about those

they also get friendly electricly, maybe a black ghost knife, great personalities,
