Will be getting a 90gal next week for christmas, and it's exciting. While it should definately be my own preference, who can ever decide by themselves! I'd love to hear your guys' opinions and ideas, as I know they will be good.

Already owned fish are..

2 Angels
2 Synodontis Laced Catfish
1 Rainbow Shark
1 Farawella
1 Jurupari

I would really like to get 2 more angels to keep the current, newly devoloping aggresson down, no matter the option I choose.

I've been looking into a few options here..

OPTION 1

I really enjoy oscars, and would enjoy getting a single..I would have to keep the rainbow and farawella in the current tank, but will the Oscar beat the angels, jurupari or catfish? Jurupari is expected to get to 7-10 inches, my catfish are currently 6.5 and 5 inches long, the angels I expect will not be compatible. If it is too iffy I will not venture this path and risk my fish.

OPTION 2

Add all current fish into 90gal and get 1-2 nice cihclids, something semi-aggressive like Texas Green or something of that nature. Or any semi-agressive to peaceful, or oddball fish.

OPTION 3

This is more of a question, will 2-3 discuss fit in a 90gal comfortably and safely? From what I've read they are very peaceful so a pair should work, and get to about 8 inches each. Only my jurupari will reach similar size. However they do school so is 2 too few? The rest of my fish are peaceful, the rainbow is the smallest and minds his own business at all times.

OPTION 4

Add some loaches and rams, however I fear my jurupari may eat them when he grows up, he's already taken out a tetra and 2 ghost shrimp when he was younger :p I'm sure he could eat a 2inch fish.

In the future I would like to look into planting the 90gal if I don't go the oscar route, but will probly hold off on that to plant my current, much smaller tank.

Any ideas or suggestions on my current suggested options, or your own ideas will be greatly appreciated. All I can say for preference is I love color and oddballs.
