Hi guys, pls help me.

A couple of days back my plate coral was doing just fine, and today i see it has some white patch and a thin layer of mucus over it. pls help me to save my coral.

These corals have been having a lot of problems lately, I have noticed. Sadly once it starts to disintegrate, there is no return. My mom tried to save hers a few months ago (she tried practically everything) and nothing worked. It died within 2 days. Sorry to bring bad new but don't think there is much you can do at this point.

I've heard corals make mucous to clean themselves, what happens if you blow off the white stuff with some water?
