My 2 clown fish are trying to sex. The one is darting at the other and it does this little shaking act.
My question is that one has changed color in the color band near the tail?
I tried to google and found a lot of post about fish that change colors but not
a definite answer about my clown.
Maby someone has this happen to their clowns and could explain?

:help:

in clownfish pairing, the male will do those skitter shakes to address his submission to the female. it doesnt necessarily mean that they will mate soon, just that they are a pair.
the outside edges of my female's pectoral and taili fins are transparent, while my male just has extra thick black. this is perfectly natural.

Thanks !

I kinda knew they were just pairing and thats great.
My only concern was the color change of the tail band on the one.
Thanks for the replies, maby baby clowns in the future.
My grand kids call them Nemo's!!
