well it all started when i got my snail breeding tank and i needed some plants, i decided to stick one amazon sword in their because of how cool they look, well at the same time my cousin wanted to set up a small tank with 2 crowntails in it, well we finaly get all his stuff picked out ( heater, filter, gravel, etc), i go over to the fish area and wait about 5 minutes and no one comes, so i pick up that red phone and ask to get some help to get the plant i guy replies and says one minute im helping a customer. He comes...

meijer dude: hello sir what can i get you?

me: yeah, i need an amazon sword plant.

meijer dude: what the h*ll is an amazon whatever plant, i normally work the tool department!?

( at this point all there plants are wrapped in bundles of 8-10)

me: well i think i see one in there (that bundle)

meijer dude: what the h*ll do you want an aquatic plant for....you cant smoke it!

me: well it helps keep amonia down and it.... ( cuts me off)

meijer dude: you say in its this mess?

me: yeah

meijer dude: ( grabs the wad of 8 plants and throughs it into a bag with water )
says: so how much is it.

me: ( i bend down to look )

meijer dude: Its the cheapest thing right... $1.89
( slaps the bag with 1.89 and hads it to me)

me: um yeah i guess, sure....thanks

meijer dude: have fun with your aquatic plant?!

I was quite happy since i got
3 amazon swords- $4.50 a piece

2 Dracaena sanderiana- $1.89 a piece

3 ( looks like long grass that curls around alot)- $3.30 a piece

overall=$28.81(with tax)

paid=$ 2.00(with tax)

Any ways i ended up giving my cousin all except the 3 swords for his new tank ( wich we set up later that night with 2 bettas) And i stuck the other 2 unplanned swords in my ten gallon to replace some of the fake plants.

all in all a great trip to meijers!

I'll never buy from Meijers again.One time about a year ago,I bought some feeders,I ended giving my big tank a bad case of ich.I raise my own feeders now.
 
Beware the 2 aluminum plants may cause a negative reation.I bought one once added it my tank within 24 hours the fish were acting aggitated and generaly unhappy I also developed a rash.I had to remove it and do major water changes before the fish went back to normal.Also aluminum plants are really non aaquatic plants and will die off-Anne
 
The long grass that curls a lot is probably twisted valisneria.

man youre one lucky guy..
this place called pet discount, they sell alot of plants and on the glass it jsut says:
"plants, big-3.99 small-1.99"
and they had melon sword, crypto wendii, anubias nana, microsorium, glosso.
i shouldve bought it but i didnt have my wallet and by the time i came back with my wallet they closed the store, hopefully i can go soon
