I noticed one of my shrimp has swollen fuzzy green-grey rear legs on Sunday night after returning from a weekend trip. I took these pictures. I saw him for the first time since Sunday today after a pwc, and the condition looks worse. He is more swollen and the affected area is a darker grey now and definately fuzzy. I have two other Amano shrimp and they seem fine. Any idea what is going on? I have 0 ammonia & nitrite, nitrate is at 10, ph is 7.2, tested today. In addition to the shrimp I have 1 bushy nosed pleco, 7 platy fry, 6 neon tetra's, 2 SAE, and 3 cory cats in a 37 gal moderately planted tank. I moved about a month ago and I've had this film on the water. I have more pictures if needed, these seemed like the best. What's wrong with my shrimp?

Definately looks like eggs... Not sure what color amano shrimp eggs are supposed to me though.

looks like it might be normal. Amano eggs are much smaller than cherries from the looks of the pics... they go through a larval stage and continue to develop.

Thanks Zigman, that was a very informative article. I'm so glad she's alright, tho I don't know what I'll do with the babies once they are grown (presuming I don't kill them of course), but that bridge is a few months away.
