I found him with some more in a tank at the back of my LFS . and researched them on the web they can be kept with elephant nose s . Good in a comunity tank . they eat blood worms and brine shrimp , no luck yet with algae disc s . pellet food. or flake food. Hes llike my friend s black ghost knife , he likes to eat, and is most active when it s darker . but 2 day s since bloodworms hes out in the light looking for food now ,

hes quite the digger going about an inch into the sand substrate , I wasnt quite sure what he pulled out ??

with my inconclusive research they grow to an average of 13.5 inches at the most in aquariums with the very largest reported at 22 inches , which would be way too big , im hoping he gets around 10 .. They are not agresive at all but is the fastest aquarium fish i ve kept so far ... when my gouramis try to bug him he swims circle s around them.

I will keep you all updated on this one as he is very truly interesting!:grinyes:

there is another morymid called baby whale its like a light version of the dolphin and suposedly they stay small at 5 to 6 inches.

:confused::confused::confused::confused:Came home the other night and the dolphin was dead against the intake of my xp3 :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

He seemed healthy and healthier all the time and was even growing a little , it even looked like he enjoyed and was having fun in the tank with the gouramis,

There was only one wrong thing i noticed on him the body just before the tail was red errrr inside more like a muscle bruise or something just a small spot just before his tail. I couldn't figure out what it was so thought maybe it was normal.

but the seemingly healthy, expensive fish just died for seemingly no reason . dats life ive now filled in some tank space with a school of green fire tetras and a school of blue flame tetras. ill put up all the dolhpin pics i have in a post soon.
