I'm building a new tank - a 180G corner tank (see attached). Would this tank be large enough to keep the smallest of stingrays happy even into adulthood?

A corner tank this size would be cool but I think they would do best in a round tank or a oval one. But I would say minium would be 180 since many species get about 36 inches in diameter. I wish you the best of luck and post pics as you go along. I would love to see a live journal on your processes.
I think actually having a sting ray in a tank this size along with small schooling fish would be really cool. The stingray the main display fish, but having a huge school of neons or cardnials would be neat. That is if you keep your sting ray well fed. ;)

I know that some species max out at 12" to 14" and my proposed tank is kind of round-ish. I wouldn't want to do it unless the ray would be content in a tank of that size & shape as upgrading in the future won't be an option.

I will post a play by play of the tank, but it might be a drawn out kind of thing as I will be doing it slowly, at least till the fall. Thanks :joe: << I know that is out of context, but I just had to find a use for that one :D
