FYI on glass tops

for those of you who didnt know, the difference in perfecto and AGA really stands out in their quality of glass tops. I mistakenly bought a Perfecto because I thought my used tank was a perf but today after comparing the perfecto to the AGA, the glass is notably thicker on AGA glass tops and seems better built. LFS had it for 28 bucks and petsmart sold their perfecto for 39! even the little handle on the perfecto is a POS compared to the AGA one.

Maybe it is true that Perfecto is a second rate brand.

i've always stuck to AGA products, if they work as they should, why not?

I use both AGA and Perfecto tops. The AGA are nice as the flip opening on top is bigger and I'm the type who always has my arm in the aquarium doing something. The Perfecto really seem to cut down on evaporation though.

I have a Marineland one and it seems good to me.
