Please note this about the galaxy rasboras and how our hobby may wipe out there natural habitat and in the end wipe them out in the wild. This is due to over catching as well as the methods of being caught (I.E. cyanide). There numbers are so reduced that catchers often find themselves with only a handful (like 12) of these fish after a whole day of catching. If you dont have the intention of breeding these fish then i wouldnt suggest getting one until there wild count is back up and running. It would be a terrible thing if our hobby destroyed there species only so soon after there discovery.

We are lucky enough to have them breed in captivity but our main goal for these is to have there habitat heal itself and for us to breed and release these fish back into our worlds delicate eco system.

My LFS is breeding them. Of course, I found this out AFTER I bought my Endlers... I'm debating another nano just to get some from him :)
