yes, i twisted my knee last summer and it still gives me trouble sometimes without warning, especially after a 12-14 hour shift. thats what happened.

i built that stand and it is a joy! i now have a 29 setup on it. will post pics shortly.

lol! yes, im glad all came out ok anyway. actually, it was for the best. my festivum needed more swimming room than that tank. when it broke, i gave him to the pet store where he got a good home. thats the silver lining and for that, i have no bad memories for the ordeal.
 
the last update. well, the festivum i traded into the pet store (or gavce, i really dont remember..) DID get a fantastic home. it is a he! and guess what? HES A PROUD FATHER!

make a long story short, i went to the fish place today (havent been there in months...) and got to talking to the owner.
i went out on limb when i passed a tank full of small festivums and asked if they had anything to do with the fish i gave him. he wasnt sure, so i explained how it had happened ( i had told him the day after the accident that the tank was gone and the fish needed help- guess it made an impression on his memory)

in fact, the fish is now a breeder for the store! the owner said that he kept my festivum and found a beautiful mate for him!!!
those little festivums were his offspring! they were beautiful, but the price was 10.99 a fish! the fish were only as a big as a quarter mind you!
i was like, aww man, i coulda done that!

anyway, i thought id post that little tidbit.
