gambusia affinis and guppy cross?

The beginning is the same as before trying to get virgin guppy females, I hope I separated them soon enough from there brothers, and put them with gambusia.

From reading your commentary, it sounds to me like you know exactly what you are doing. I have no doubt you separated the guppies on time. From my experiment, the developing male guppies didn't exhibit mating behavior until after revealing themselves. Feel free to share your photos! My muppy fry could only be identified as hybrids with the well-trained eye. They have more of a box-shaped chest as compared to a normal guppy.

pics would be very much welcome when they mature i thought it would be interesting because i have 2 white gambusia with black spots. i have some female guppy fry in a 10 gal until they mature. one of the reasons for this experiment is that we get the occasional cold snap down here in florida that will kill your ornamental tropical fish, the guppies i had died but my gambusia affinis holbrooki did not.

I had 1 female "mosquitofish" Gambusia[netted as fry]in a tank with 3 male guppies,and one female guppie.

Both females produced fry, very close together nine months ago,i deft have one very odd male guppie from that generation, silver long thin body, short rounded orange fins and smaller than an adult Endlers.
I will post some pics as soon as i do some research how to take an effective photograph.
