I wish people would stop killing this thread by not putting down their wishes ;-)

Granted. People will put inappropriate wishes, and get the thread removed.

I wish people didn't make so many inane assumptions.
 
Granted. Nothing is too inane to ask about and be sure. After reading the manual to make sure the buttons didn't move, you pick up the phone and call to work to make sure they haven't relocated, they still have a parking lot, you still have a job there, the staff still speaks English, the air is still breathable there, and that the sun is also burning in the sky in their part of the world (across town).

I wish computer printer manufacturers didn't rape consumers on the cost of supplies.
 
Granted. Now a black and white printer that takes up a room and prints one page an hour, single sided costs $72,000,000.01

By the way, you can thank Gillette (the best a man can get) for that marketing scheme. Selling the printer below cost, and charging excess for ink refills follows the idea introduced with the first cartridge razor.

I wish I could afford that.
 
Granted, you can afford 'that'. However since that is vauge, we will assume you meant you wish you could afford a Gillette razor. You unfortunatly can not afford replacment blades, so you have to sharpen the original blade every morning for the rest of your life.
PS- Your wife hates beards, so you can't grow one.

I wish aggressive tank-mate eating fish could be trained to be peaceable vegitarians!
 
They can be vegan, but they will only live for 47 hrs.

I wish people wouldn't attempt to deny that nature is violent.
 
granted. instead they deny that its beautiful and cut down all the rainforests

Hebily: Wish granted, but you get beat up in the parking lot on your way home, and all your friends just stand around and say "that's just the way it is".
