My initial pair of GBRs died from an unknown cause about 2 months ago. After a long and hard search i found a discus breeder that just started breeding GBRs. So i picked up a pair for $20, and these gusy were a real nice size, even bigger than my last pair before they passed on.

So it took them a month, but i now have a slate rock COVERED in eggs. My last pair laid a lot, but these guys laid more than i could have ever imagined. Probably becasue they are so much bigger, and not to mention they have been the best parents i have seen. The male watches them, and when he gets bored he goes and nudges the female and then she goes right over to the eggs, and vice versa.

Hope these make it!

i really need to borrow a friends digi, because i dont have my own. i'll try to post pics asap.

For the eggs to develop properly you want soft water.GH 2-6(under 6 for sure),Kh 2-4 ph below 7.4.IF the water does not meet these requirements consider gently moving half of them into pure Ro or pure distilled water.Add 1 ml of Hydrogen peroxide (common in drug stores)for each gallon per day.Get an airstone close to the eggs.

Never heard that before. GL with the babies.
