GE 9325K Aqua-Rays Discontinued?

I've had two vendors (Atlanta Light Bulbs and E-LightBulbs) inform me that the GE 45851 - F55BX/AR/FS 9325K Aqua-Ray CFL's have been discontinued. Does anyone know what happened? They are my favorite bulb.

yes they are, other than the fact that t8 techology is pales in comparison to t5, pc, t3, halides, or leds. It's the sign of the times

I believe the OP is looking for the CFLs, not the T8s...

I ultimately ordered a 6 pack from Fosters & Smith @ $24.99 each (free shipping). More than the $15-$17 I have paid in the past for these. I have also sent an e-mail to GE asking what was going on. Maybe these are a casualty of the new 2012 federal law.

Out of stock at lightbulbsdirect.com . F&S has shipped my order. I think they actually carry an inventory of some of the stuff they sell, unlike a lot of other vendors.

I was under the impression that the current phase out was for T12s.

F&S is now out of these. Supposedly they will be resupplied on February 7. I wonder if that will actually happen.
