The only reason they have that warning on the tube is so they are not liable for any accidents that may occur if used for aquariums. If you do a quick search you'll see that many people have used the GE silicone without a problem.
GE silicone 1 actually says aquariums on the back if you read through all the instructions it is towards the end. Some one check that and see if I am seeing correctly...
