How do I private msg a user who I'd like to purchase something from on market place?

If you mouse over the user name, you will get a box that provides different contact options. But, as a new member, you need to wait a while--I don't know if it's a day, 2 days, or what--before you can send PM's. This is done to avoid having spammers sign up and flood everyone with junk. You can try posting in the thread as well.
