Geosystem as a planted tank?

I'm looking at adding another small planted community tank, and I'm wondering if anyone has used these systems before. I'm probably looking at a Geosystem 80 (30g) and it seems to have a decent enough package for low-light plants (Fluval 204 Canister and 2 x 20w Fluorescent Hood).

Any reviews on these units?

Never heard of them, but it looks like you could probably do plants like mosses, java fern, maybe some low-light crypts, etc etc.

It's a Hagen kit, seems to be popular up here in Canada, but maybe no so much in the states. Here is a link to their kits.

I know the lighting is not great, but I'm really not looking for terrible tricky plants. Maybe some Dwarf Swords and Anachris or Hornwort.

I wouldn't use their chemicals, I'm noobish, but not that noobish :D

What's wrong with the filtration? I'd rather have a Rena or Eheim canister, certainly, but any canister is likely going to be good filtration for a small tank like this, I would think?

I wish I was a little more confident on the Fluval canister though. Last time I looked at them, they weren't very highly rated...

Yeah, I should probably do the same. I like the convenience of the integrated hoods, but the more I think about doing a nice T5HO setup and a proper canister, the less attractive the hood seems.
