german blue ram has a bent tail

There is still debate about whether ich is always present in aquariums, although I've never seen any serious study that claims that which I why I remain skeptical.

The heat alone method is iffy for me only because there are different opinions at which temp it works, and when you get that high in temp it gets dicey. Don't forget that DO2 also decreases also decreases when increasing temp so oftentimes its recommended to add something for oxygenation.

just an update; i had gotten rid of the paradise fish. the owner took them back and gave us our cash back, after he heard our story of attacks and the bent tail. we then got another male ram, cause our female was lonely. they just bred and had eggs about a week ago. they started shaking and dribbling, so they were real close to hatching. but i think the rummies/rams ate them.
