Hi, my gbr's spawned for the second time today and this time I got to see the video. I got a really cool video of them spawning. Well after the process was over, momma and dad were forgetful to watch their eggs and since this is a community tank, my red tail shark got a nice mouthful of eggs. The best I could come up with is a plastic container, with some tiny....very very tiny holes. But I was worried about circulation on the eggs and since I have a hob power filter i figured I could use that to keep the eggs safe. Fortunatly they laid on a rock, so it was easily movable. I used fishing line to hang the container up at the top and high enough where my fish will hopefully not move get into. only the very tip is in the water to they would have to jump in. I then took the fishing line down to a rock where i can adjust how much flow the eggs will get. I shouldnt need much. What do you all think? will it work? Once they hatch idk what i will do to feed them. I know they are to tiny to take freshly hatched brine, Would that liquid fry food you see at the store work? Any help will be appreciated. Oh and here are some pics with my contraption
