German Blue Rams-In my tank?

I have a planted 14 gallon biocube. So far, I have 2 glolight tetras, 2 neon tetras, 1 platy, a pair of longfin rosy barbs, and a spotted cory cat. I will probably be getting rid of the platy in the near future. I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to add a ram (or pair of rams) in my tank? Everyone is doing fine and the tank has been set up for about 4 months. Thanks!
 
As I know it a single ram might work...I would probably say no. A pair would need more room though. That I can definitally say. 20G min I believe? Anyone else want to say yes or no here?
 
10 gallons have worked for breeding purposes but even then I agree with 20 gallon long as a minimum for a pair, especially with tankmates.

All of your fish need to be in groups. I suggest choosing only a couple of groups and maxing out the stock through the schools.
 
Would it be feasible for me to get a blue ram and finish up with adding a couple of fish for the tetras to school with? Or would that be too many fish?
 
Too many IMO.

Seeing as the tetras, barbs, and corys should be in groups of 5-6 minimum you'll be far overstocked.

I would go with:

6 neons or glowlights
4-6 corys (do you know which species?)
3 platies (1 male, 2 females OR all female)

Seeing as the OP doesn't like platies, I say you could put a ram in there instead.
 
It's the spotted or peppered cory. I like your list, but let me throw some ideas out there and you let me know how they sound.

5 Peppered cories
6 neon tetras
2 rosy barbs
1 german blue ram
 
I'd leave out the rosy barbs. They like to school, and are pretty active (and big) for a tank that small.
