Came home from work yesterday and noticed german ram picking at something in the water, and returning back and forth. Did this for awhile, took a closer look and saw free swimming fry, a real cloud :dance:. Neat to watch they play touch tag when one leaves or returns, then the other parent will leave, or swim a short distance away. Parents very protective. Have approx. 60 gallon with 4 other rams. But they also are staying in the opposite corner. Have they been told, or do they also have fry, I am unable to see as they are in a corner behind a plant and and ornement, and the other 2 are also behind a plant. Moved 14 neons, into another aquarium. Other german rams are stying put. Father still guarding corner. mother by fry. Parents more relaxed since neons are out. Will wait to see what happens! Would of liked to move parents & fry to other tank, but moved the neons. Will sell neons, to have aquarium for fry. Or guess, see what happens and move parents into other aquarium.
