German Ram question

Hi all, I have a twenty gallon tank with harlequin rasboras and some khuli loaches. I was wondering if it is okay to introduce just one Ram in there. Or is it absolutley neccesary to keep them in pairs?

one will be just fine, males have better coloring i suggest you get a single male

actually there is not much difference in colors of the males or females cept the red/orange belly of the female(mature)

remember Blue Rams prefer warmer water..yes some will say they are fine @78 f
but they thrive and color up much more nicely at 82-84f.

There really isn't a huge coloration difference. Though males will be more colorful if in the presence of females.
