Getting rid of duckeed

I have, alas, decided to embrace my duckweed after endless years of battling it unsuccessfully with a hand-held metal kitchen sieve virtually daily.

Now it covers the top of my planted tank and, since I really have too much light, it helps diminish the light and keeps the algae away. That said, I pull handfuls out each morning before I feed so that the tank gets at least SOME light. Needless to say, the attached "fish" bathroom is covered in tiny leaves and I think it'll end up eventually clogging up both the sink and the bathtub.

Us goldfish keepers never have a problem with the stuff for some odd reason. I just take a net full of the stuff to the goldfish tank and then next morning it's all gone.
