Ive had my 5 gal set up for a while and running empty. Yesterday I got 5 lbs of liverock, and a 18w coralife with one 10,000k daylight and one actinic 03 blue bulb. I was going for fowlr, but with this light im thinking I could try some beginner corals. This is my first SW tank, but am well versed in the FW stuff, so I dont think it's going to be too hard for me, as long as I know what to look for, test numbers etc. so...

1. What is a good beginner coral?

2. Is an orange spotted cave goby ok for this sized tank(would be the only fish)

and 3. My live rock had 2 small crabs, about the size of a dime. They are orange with black claws. Any ideas what they are, and will they be ok with the fish?

As for corals, try a couple basic mushrooms. They are fairly hardy and if your tank has cycled, should do well as they are lower light corals.

I don't know about your fish choice, but 5g is pretty small for any sw fish.

Crabs are nearly impossible to ID from a description. A clear, close-up picture is really needed to even begin to guess. As a general rule (and it really is general), "hairy" crabs are undesirable and may harm fish and / or corals.
