Ghetto Aquarium Stands

A lfs near me uses blocks, but puts the 2x4s and 2x6s through the holes in the blocks. In the warehouse they have tanks 120 gallons and bigger three rows high using this method and it works great.

Quick question - are they using the plywood on top of the runners or do they sit the tanks directly on the 2x4s/2x6s ?

Mgamer20o0 now exactly where would i find a 48 inch rack similar to the ones in the picture that you posted? I have 2 20 gal tanks one with toads and one with an african bullforg, a 20 gal with 2 common snapping turtles, and a 50 gal aquarium with many fish including a Black Ghost Knife and a Banjo Catfish.
