I wish I was a fish I wish.
The way some store employees net fish is sometimes harmful to the fish. They chase them around and sometimes pinch fish between the net frame and the glass. I've lost a few fish from what I believe was agressive fish netting. It may not have even happened by the person who got the fish for you or at that time but by someone else earlier in the day. If only you could net your own. Sorry for your loss.
If you ever suspect the fish they netted was injured, you should say you want a different fish.
